Here's a peak at Chris's 68 short wide Chevy. I told him that my camera wouldn't do it justice, and I was right, the pics are terrible, but I still had to post them. This truck is show quality from top to bottom. I'll let him fill you in with the details.

I love that brushed aluminum panel. Is that factory or did you make that?

A few more pics of the chassis. Frame and all suspension parts were blasted, epoxy primed and topcoated with single stage urethane.

With 68-71 bb engine towers, early Chevelle headers fit like a glove ! With ground clearance to boot. To be exact, these are Hooker ( part # 2455 ) 2" Comp headers.

Sorry, Outlaw ! I somehow missed your question while getting the pics uploaded. No, this is something i fabricated to help set off my instrument panel. It still needs more polishing in my opinion. I'm a sucker for the shiney stuff ! :D Here's a pic of the door all dressed in black !

Are the gauges going to have a strip like that too?

Hey Steven, the panel is actually a billet aluminum piece. 67-72 chevytrucks board member "Javy" out in Cali, machined it for me. I think i have a pic of it.

Here it is ....
