Crank Gear

Postby jbgroby on Fri Mar 06, 2009 7:57 pm

Last week I was having a problem getting the key in the slot on the crank shaft. I filed the key a bit and emory cloth saned the crank gear as well as sanding the inside of the lower 2 groove pulley and to my surprise I was able to hand push the pulley almost all the way on until the last 3/4" or so, the crank bolt and think washer did the rest of the work. At this point there is not another think I need to add to the engine except to tie in the Power steering setup. I'm still unsure about that
