Cruisin the coast '09

Postby HuggerCST on Mon May 11, 2009 1:08 pm

I know it's a few months away but I checked a few motels today and many are already booked up. I checked online and called Treasure bay Casino and they are sold out for friday and saturday, Cajun RV park shows to be full, and Holiday Inn showed only a few King rooms left. Super 8 shows to be full, but like last year, I called and they have a few rooms. He said that a "four night special", (wed-sunday) was $599 plus tax, and they have a 3 night minimum. They also require a $150 deposit that is refundable if you cancel 30 days in advance. Do yall want to stay at super 8 again?

Cruisin the coast is Oct 4th through the 11th this year.

EDIT;
Flamingo beach Inn has some for $89 a night
Jubilee Inn has rooms for about $115 a night
Isle of Capri has rooms, wed. is $59, thursday is $59, friday is $159, and saturday is $169

Yeah the prices are unreal high if you want to stay anywhere along the beach down there, but not bad if you don't. The cool thing about being down there though, is that you can sit out in front of your motel, beside the street and watch everybody cruise by.

I'm ready! I put in my vacation request today, then I come home and find a thread started for it.

I've already checked to make sure the campground did in fact have our reservations. Brandi, Ratchet, & I will be there the whole week this year. And Oscar's truck will be there no matter what it looks like in 5 months.
