I'm making a trip to Kansas in about two weeks and looking at suggestion on trip routes.
My original Idea was to take I55 up to St Louis, the snag 70 over to the town (Hays, KS) where my daughter will be living.
Another thought was Go up to Jackson, MS catch 20 over to Dallas then 35 up thru Wichita Falls to 70.
One of the recommend routes is I10 to Lafayette up to Alexandria, then 20 to Dallas, then up.
I am trying to keep on main Interstates with the U-haul and trailer hauling the car.
I always hated that leg between Lafayette/Alexandria, it was always torn up.
All work out to be about the same mileage
I'll be driving back in a rental. So any suggestions from you long haul folks?
