I had this information awhile back but misplaced it. What I have and want to do is the following. I want to replace the single reservior brake master cylinder with a dual chamber setup so I have seperate lines going to the front and back wheels (incase one fails, this is a safety feature) .

I have a 1960 GMC and can't remember what years to ask for at NAPA. "I thnk it was froma 72-85" but can't be sure and don't want to mess up

I'm sure that someone else has done this swap? There one new setup on eBay with 2 days left for a great price.

Have you converted it to disc front brakes? Do you plan to?

No Hugger, I'm hopping not to have to convert the frontend, I understand you can put in a dual cylinder withOUT a booster if you keep both axles with drums brakes. Which is exactly what I want to do.

The reason I ask is because I am switching my '70 over to front disc in the next few days, and the master cylinder is different, so I have a new '71-72 style to go on it. The drum/drum master cylinder on it now is good and you can have it if it will work for you. I replaced it 3-4 years ago and have only driven the truck back & forth from my house to my shop. I also replaced the wheel cylinders and brake hoses at that time, and I can't use the front ones now, so if you have any use for them, let me know. Mine does have power brakes, but I think it's the same master cylinder.
