Yeah there may be a simpler way to do it Eric, I haven't looked into it other what I see on our admin pages.

Hey Mike(GSFmech), are you still having login problems/getting kicked out of the build section? Is it at home or at work, or both?

Wynne here at work it's perfect. It's only at home I have problems so it may be my computer at home. I've been telling my wife to go buy a new one but she's been busy.

It may be your security settings. If you want to try to change them, let me know, I'm thinking that is the problem that some are having.

Yeah I'll give you a shout when I get home but my home computer is real old and it needs to be replaced anyway. I'm going to take it and put it on a router and put it in my shop and she'll have the new one.

Have you tried going straight to the forum page, instead of the home page?

The home page is up this morning and everything is working perfectly for me now. Go figure.

I couldn't get on the site Thur. of Fri. at work or home. Works now, but I had to log in each time I changed sections. I saw where someone said they went to the member's only section first, and that seems to help. Now I just can't see what's NEW or OLD after I first log in.

I'm hoping that one of you that are having problems will try to lower your internet security settings just a little and see if that helps. To do this, go to "Tools"(top right of screen),->"Internet options"->"security", then lower your settings some. Hopefully that will help, but let us know, I'd like to figure it out and solve that problem.

Great, let us know if you have any more problems. Just curious, how much did you lower it? Mine is at medium-high on my Dell, and I haven't had any of those problems.

Not a biggie but if one uses Firefox as a browser, the frames get distorted and the forum section gets collapsed into a very small window in the center. Not a problem when running a computer using Windows as you can circumvent it with the IE Tab add-on, but if you run linux you cannot use it or see the forums in a fashion to make it readable. The screenshot below shows all you see if using FF:

I've encountered this myself a few times on some sites I run. Usually it's skin/theme related as phpBB is compatible with all flavors of browsers. There are just some niggling differences between html code for IE and FF.
