I started looking into that a while back. I couldn't figure it out and never followed up, but I know it's something that we need to fix. There is a old email about it from a freeforums tech in the inbox, Eric. If you don't have time to look into I will, just let me know.

I just added Firefox to my work computer, so I can understand the problem a little better now. Apparently it's site related,(louisianaclassictruckclub.com), because when I go straight to the forum address, ( http://louisianaclassictruckclub.freeforums.org/ ), Firefox works fine, but when clicking the "Forums" link at the top of the main page, it gets distorted. Also, if you go straight to the forum address, you don't get the "window within a window", which gives you two scroll bars on the right.

IS the site running slow for anyone else? Sometimes it takes 5 mins or so for a page to load and sometimes it goes right through. I have the same problem at work and home.

I haven't noticed any problems loading pages, but it has been slow to post in a thread for me.

Yes. I have had that problem the last couple of days. Also, when you click to submit a post it takes quite a while to go through so then if you click again to see if you are froze up it will double post the same message. I have seen several of thos post recently.

At least I'm not the only one. Seems to be worse for me in the evening. Maybe it's just a server usage deal.

Apparently it's a problem with freeforums. Other forums are having similar problems. Hopefully they will figure it out soon.

I sure hope so! Since last night it has gotten worse on my end.

No joking, it has taken me 5 minutes from the time I clicked my saved link till this window came up! We have high speed cable and this is actually slower than my mothers old dial up.

I have checked all the other sites I go to and they are up and running intantly, this one is just a black screen for 1-2 minutes every time I click on another topic or forum.

I haven't had that problem today. It's still slow to load a response some times though, and actually went down for a little while this morning.
