Finally got front suspension and tires on..,, sits alot higher than should, suspension real tight... hope will drop some after it gets worked in a little. also got power steering pump on. Hope to get steering linkage and radiator support on this weekend then start front sheetmetal....here's pics on has guard dog in it (he hands me tools on occasion... just can't read fractions very well) :wink: ImageImage

I hope to be able to drive her to Natchitoches on Oct. 3. Since can't make ctc this year its the closest show.That gives me about 9-10 weeks to get it in gear.

That's bad a$$. You should start a build thread with you photo collection so we can follow along. I can't wait to see it finished and hope to see you guys in Natchitoches. We are hoping to have a preset time to meet and all of us get in the show at the same time so we park together and fly our banner.Good luck with your goal and stay at it.

I am with Mike, that is bad ass! Thanks for the close up pics, the camaro subframe looks good! I still havent decided which suspension setup I am going to use. I have been leaning towards just building a full tube chassis from scratch.

Mustang II and 4 link or vette rear would go in best I think, but have no axctual experience with either.

Yeah, those are the most common choices. I dont have a frame at all so even if I did use the T/A subframe I have it would still be 2x4 square tubing from the firewall back so I can set the ride height exactly like I want it.

By the time i got thru choppin on mine only about 3 feet of original frame was left anyway (the section directly under cab). But I know a couple guys around here that may have a original frame if you decide you want one.
