I think it comes to him in dreams, in the 3 or 4 hours he sleeps per night!

I went to a local saw mill today just to see what was out there. Because of modifications to truck, any bed wood kit purchased would have to be modified. I found these boards and thought grain was too cool. Its a soft wood but unlikely I'll be hauling anything in it other than lawn chair and ice chest anyway. $40 got me more than enough wood for a bed. This is cedar but he also had oak, cypress and pineImage

Those are going to look awesome in the bed Todd! Nice choice.

Oh, and the paint thing, I will tell you my secret. I have messed up and screwed up in everyway possible and learned how NOT to do it. I have done stuff before and the words going through my mind at the time were, "Idiot, why did you do that"

That cedar is going to look nice Todd. It's always cool when someone does something just a little different than everyone else!

Don't let Keith fool ya, He's from down south he's got the "Mojo" goin' with the paintin' thing!

Last Wednesday night I came home from training to the strong smell of paint. Turns out a gallon of clear JUMPED off the shelf onto the floor spilling every drop!! The next day wife and kids found a kitten in the garage and chased it away before I could get home, I was gonna stuff it for a Halloween decoration! Luckily the spill only made a mess on floor and not truck.
Sun came out Friday and I was able to get welder running and get a little work done

Wish I could cath that ghost in my shop that knocks over things, or worse yet moves the stuff around so I can't find anything.

I had something similar happen Todd, I just wish it was a cat though. I would go into the area I mix paint and the smaller cans kept being knocked on the floor. I would put the cans back and the next day was the same thing.

I found what it was one day when I grabbed a quart off the shelf, a big fat chicken snake! Damn near had a heart attack and then almost destroyed my shop trying to kill it!

I NEED INPUT!!! Here is the glovebox and speaker cover for the dash of the 51. My problem is I don't know how to make it tie in. Truck colors are the gray in earlier pics and black and trans am silver flames on hood.Image
