Louisiana Classic Truck Club

The Mississippi boy needs assistance/advice from you LA folks. I figure Jeff is probably the closest, but my daughter is interviewing with Tulane tomorrow. And it sounds pretty good so far, but what I need is some advice on somewhere closer to downtown NO/Tulane that would be a decent area for her to look for apartments to live in. Close enough so she won't have a drive like from here, but not is the war zone.

The only reason I go to New Orleans is to pick up airbrush supplies at Dixie Art.

Have you thought about finding a place for her in the Covington/Mandeville or Slidell areas?

That's why I am asking you guys. I thought of Slidell at first (closer to our side). I don't think she would care for the Causeway everyday, so I didn't think about those right away. She still wants the Kansas job, but she is at least looking at both good options right now.

Bill there are a lot of places near Tulane thats not to bad but slidell would be the place to go IMO
