Little more progress. I finished cleaning, then painted the hood hinges. After that I putt the anti-rattle stuff in the hood and got it back on the truck. Did some more blocking on the hood and worked on the passenger rear quarter panel some.

It's an early mid 90'3 Ford color called Caymen Blue/Green (depending on the year). I had an F150 and a Tempo in the color and I always liked it. Sometimes it looks green, other times it has a bluer look to it.

I got some more done on her today and I am very HAPPY :D

I finished and tested my replacing the hood springs with struts. One of the really nice things is, putting the hinges on was easy. I just reahed up in through the wheel wheels and bolted them in. Got the hood aligned, then snugged all the bolts down., The I lifted it and snapped in the struts. Man they work smooth.
Here is a more detailed write up on the 6772 site. Today's stuff starts with post 209.

I am happy. Parts and all on listed in my build over there. I still have to touch up the black paint in a couple spots on the hinges, but man I am happy with the outcome, especially since my first attempt bent/ruined a set of hinges.

OH yeah here da pics.

Just when you think you are going together, it falls apart.

Nah, I cleaned out shop yesterday so I can get the bed off and hopefully get some priming, blocking, paint on her soon.

The ole redneck bed lifter gets put to work again.

I'm working out the pipe adjustment for the fuel tank to match to the new fuel filler over the next few days. Then I just wait for the money tree to bloom and go buy some paint stuff.

Not much progress on mine lately, but got all the furniture and boxes out of the shop now that the daughter is out in Kansas. Nice thing is no soccer till late January, so I may make some progress. I started work on welding the adapters for the fuel tank filler. I am off this turkey week, so hopefully I can sneak up away from the in-laws and get some more done on it.

I am assuming the neck is that way from the factory. This is an original 72 Blazer tank, not a aftermarket. I still had to trim the brace to clear the tank though.
