I would like to see it happen too Steven. One, to do something for kids that are confined to a hospital and cant get out like a healthy child and two for the fun of cruising and hanging out as a club for a couple days.

Steven, I like your idea and it also shows us what one person ( with others helping I am sure ) can accomplish, image what we could do with all of us working at it. I also like the idea you have of showing up at each company that is donating, you are right, if they feel they are involved much more will get done.

Having thier names or company name on some type of signs, flyers, etc will get the companies more involved too. I had thought that we would need some type of enclosed trailer to put the toys in, just in case it rains and so we can lock it up at night. An idea I had was to cut off the rear cargo area of the suburban I have and convert it to trailer, or maybe a truck bed with the top enclosed or just an ordinary enclosed trailer. Several of us painters could get together put some kind of eye candy paint job on it with large lettering of the name we decide to call the cruise. That will draw attention to it while we are cruising. Then we would have the space to put all the sponsors, companies logos and company name all over it. We could even have a place that individuals that contribute can sign their name on it with a sharpie.

I also understand that it will take alot to do and agree 100% with Wynne also, we have to get more people to have a successful cruise.

Look guys, if ya'll are holding back cause you think this is going to happen too soon for you, the way I see it, this cruise would not happen till spring of 2011 anyway for a couple reasons. Heres why.

We all agree that we need atleast a year to put this together and so some of us can get our trucks finished. It also seems that a majority wants it to be in the spring. That puts this happening in 2011, so we have time to plan the cruise, and all of as members have time to save up for the cruise and finish our trucks.

Hey guys, even if you dont have any ideas or opinions on what needs to be done, just post whether or not you would make the cruise so we can have a list of who is planning to cruise and how many trucks we will have. We may need to start another thread or a poll just to have a visual list of who will be getting involved. Then we can see if this is something we need to pursue any farther.

Like Wynne said, #1 most important thing we need, LCTC members involvment.
