Congrats, Mike and Wynne. You both deserved the trophies!

We had a great time, beautiful weather, with a really nice venue for a car show!

Wynne, it was great to see your truck on the road and at the show! It really motivated me to get the '68 moving! Congrats to you and Mike on the well deserved awards!

Thanks guys, it was an awesome day, perfect weather and a great venue. The show is growing and was probably the best one I've been to this year. It was sure good to see Wynne's truck pulling into that gas station yesterday morning, this truck is awesome!!! I really like the way the stance and wheel tire combo worked out, Wynne has it nailed.

Hat's off to Brandon for all the great pics, we may have to make him one of the clubs official photographers, he did a real good job.

Thanks to Carl for getting the dash cards printed out.

Also thanks to Holly, Kevin's wife for getting the gift certificate we gave out with the plaque for the club pick. This was a win, win thing and really upped our standing with the car show people. They have asked for Kevin and myself to be on the commitee next year. They had Kevin as one of the judges this year as well as Brad.

Thanks to Eric for supplying the canopy.

I hope I didn't forget anyone if I did thanks for all the help and support making this a great meet.

Hey guys, for all of you that missed this one I need to tell you this is probably the best show we have in Louisiana. This thing has doubled in size and I was talking to some of the staff today and they are planning on it getting bigger. I expect 400 to 500 cars within the next few years. This was the third year. They are talking about taking in the side streets and second street. This show could become the bigges in louisiana, I really think they have created a monster. I know it's close to CTC but you should try and plan around it, it really is awesome and well worth attending. Plus, we have so many members living here it is handy for another meet the next day or something.

Yeah they sure stepped it up this year. There isn't much that could have improved it other than size, and maybe a cruise.

I was trying to make it, but my bad luck cured that for me. I will hopefully make it next year.

HuggerCST wrote:It was a GREAT show. About 200 entries and a whole lot of people. It's hard to beat that location for a show. Here are a couple of pics. Tucker got several on his camera but I can't find the cord to get them on to the computer. Mike got a people's choice award for best paint, which was well deserved. Congrats Mike! I got one of the sponsor's choice awards, which practically dropped my jaw in shock. It was much appreciated, and Tucker was pretty excited. He loved getting his picture taken with me and the girl giving out awards. Which reminds me, I want to try and chase down a copy of that if any of you know who to contact.

Wynne and Mike:

After work yesterday I stopped by Dickens and Co. They will have a cd with your pics ready Wednesday. She said she would either email them to me or I could come get the cd and make copies. Let me know how you want em. I can email them, post them here, or mail you a cd.

CONGRATULATIONS!

Now I'm inspired to start on my '72. I've got a few questions for both of you, mostly parts sources.
